The Foundation awards project and unrestricted core funding to grassroots charitable organisations, who have people over 65 at the heart of their work. In Scotland, there is a specific list of locations where they can support work. Please check the fund guidance on the Foundation's website for a full list.
You must be working with adults over 65 years of age and providing either direct person-centred interventions e.g., Befriending or Group Based Social Activity to address loneliness and isolation. You should be working in an area of deprivation affecting older people.

Who can apply
You must be a registered charity, community group with constitution or Community Interest Company working in England, Scotland or Wales with a turnover under £250,000 p.a. as evidenced in your recent annual report. If you are a CIC, you must be limited by guarantee.
Funding available for Scotland is very limited and only available to organisations working in specific areas. A full list of these can be found in the fund guidance.
