The Inverclyde ADP Local Recovery Fund Programme is a small local grant programme available to constituted third sector organisations supporting individuals and families affected by problematic alcohol and drug use. The fund can support activity that helps people into recovery, reconnect with community life, improve wellbeing, access services where transport costs are a barrier, or strengthen staff skills in recovery services.

All grants will need to respond to at least one of the four primary objectives within Inverclyde ADP’s 2024-2029 Strategic Document:

1. Reduce deaths and improve lives
2. Embed a whole family approach to treatment and support
3. Ensure a coordinated and whole system approach
4. Deliver trauma informed practice

Funds can support:

• Experimenting new ways of working with partners or as an individual organisation, to support people into recovery.
• Experimenting new ways of working with partners or as an individual organisation to support people on their journey back into community life.
• Supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals or groups as part of their recovery, by enabling access to appropriate wellbeing activities.
• Proportionate transportation costs to support people who are unable to access Community Recovery Programmes and Harm Reduction services across Inverclyde due to financial hardship.
• Training and development opportunities for staff working in recovery services.

All grant funding must be spent by 31 March 2027.

Who can apply

Constituted third sector organisations with a bank account in their name are eligible to apply. This includes:

• Registered charities
• Companies limited by guarantee
• SCIOs
• CICs

Partnership applications are welcomed.
