The David Solomons Charitable Trust provides small core and project grants for UK charities that work to support people with learning difficulties.
To apply, at least 75% of the people a charity supports must have a learning disability (a lifelong condition affecting everyday life skills, for example Down Syndrome) as opposed to, or as well as, mental or physical disabilities, or it must be possible for the applying charity to ring fence any grant specifically for the learning disabled.

Who can apply
Registered charities of any size, wherein at least 75% of the people a charity supports must have a learning disability (a lifelong condition affecting everyday life skills, for example Down Syndrome); or it must be possible for the applying charity to ring fence any grant specifically for the learning disabled.
When to apply
At any time. Decisions are made at meetings three times yearly in February, June and October.
