Zero Waste Scotland - Circular Economy Accelerator Grants
Details
Zero Waste Scotland is Scotland’s Circular Economy Body. Their strategic aim is to rewire Scotland’s economic system, increasing the uptake in business adopting or applying circular economy practices and, in turn, driving a reduction of our consumption of natural resources through increased circularity.
Zero Waste Scotland can offer small amounts of grant finance as a means of supporting projects aligned to their goal of rewiring Scotland’s economic system and accelerating the transition to a circular economy in Scotland.
Through ongoing work to stimulate, develop and support strategic opportunities, Circular Economy Accelerator Grants are available to enable earlier stage or developmental projects that require support to reach a point of commercial viability or investment readiness – including Research & Development (R&D) and trials/pilots.
They will consider investing in projects that are able to demonstrate a strong strategic fit with their Corporate Plan Objectives. Suitable projects must offer the potential to deliver at scale, be replicated across high impact sectors, industry and place and ultimately deliver benefits that can be measured beyond an individual organisation.
Further details regarding the grant's aim, objectives and criteria are available on their website.
