Details
Gives one-off capital grants to UK charities working in the following areas:
- Alcohol and substance misuse
- Disabled people
- Disadvantaged young people
- Domestic and sexual violence
- Elderly people
- Homelessness
- Disadvantaged minority communities
- Prisoners and ex-offenders
- Visual impairment
They fund both large and small projects and grants are awarded towards capital projects which they define as: Buildings: purchase, construction, renovation or refurbishment; Fittings, Fixtures, and Equipment; or Vehicles.

Who can apply
They fund charities that are registered with Charity Commission/OSCR including (S)CIO; Companies Limited by Guarantee without capital share (CIC); and charities exempt from HMRC Tax. You must provide your Registration Number (if applicable, attach your HMRC Tax exemption certificate).

When to apply
Applications are accepted at any time. They aim to make a decision within eight weeks for grants and projects less than £10,000 or within six months for grants over £10,000.
