Details
Gives one-off capital grants to UK charities working in the following areas:
- substance misuse and addiction
- disabilities, including mental health and visual impairment
- communities experiencing racial inequalities
- young people facing disadvantage
- domestic and sexual abuse
- homelessness
- older people facing disadvantage
- prison and rehabilitation
- LGBT+ communities
- economic disadvantage
They fund both large and small projects and grants are awarded towards capital projects which they define as: Building or refurbishment projects; Fittings, Fixtures, and Equipment; Digital Infrastructure; or Vehicles.

Who can apply
UK charities registered with the Charity Commission (or delegated authority), Community Interest Companies (limited by guarantee without share capital), or Community Benefit Societies:
- With an annual turnover of less than £10 million if applying for a grant of more than £15,000 (a ‘Large Grant’).
- With an annual turnover of less than £2 million if applying for a grant of £15,000 or less (a ‘Small Grant’). You must be able to demonstrate that the work of your organisation fits within one or more of their Programme Areas below, and that at least 50% of service users benefiting from the capital project are from one or more of those groups.

When to apply
Applications are accepted at any time. They aim to respond within 12 weeks for small grants and within 6 weeks for the first stage of the large grants application process (6 months for final outcome).
