Details

Grants are only given to organisations with charitable status carrying out their objectives within Angus, Dundee, Perth and Kinross, Aberdeenshire and Kincardineshire, and in particular Arbroath.

The Trustees are particular keen to support:

  • Projects improving the quality of life for individuals
  • Organisations involved in community activities
  • Groups assisting the disadvantaged and those isolated by mainstream society
  • Those assisting the elderly and the sick
  • Promotion of good citizenship in the young
  • Ongoing medical research to benefit those in our communities
  • Activities promoting sport and artistic development
  • Rural wellbeing
  • Former members of the Military and their families

Who can apply

Charitable organisations operating in the east of Scotland, north of the Firth of Tay. They may exceptionally give to charitable organisations operating outwith that area but will in any event from time to time give outwith that area to the organisations favoured by the 'founders'.

When to apply

There are no deadlines and applications can be submitted at any time. The trustees meet three times a year in March, August and December, with cut off for applications at the end of the previous month.
