Fife Council - Childcare Grants
Details
Two schemes are available:
- Out of School Childcare Grant: available to constituted, non-profit distributing voluntary groups or organisations that develop and provide a registered out of school childcare service. The grant is available to support staff wages, inclusion of children with special needs, staff training, improving quality and adaptation to the physical environment.
- Transport Grant: to assist Out of School Clubs to meet the costs of transport and escort duties incurred whilst transporting children from the school to the Out of School Care Club.

Who can apply
Constituted, non-profit distributing voluntary groups or organisations providing an out of school childcare service. The organisation must have a clear management structure i.e. a management committee who have been democratically elected and a constitution or a set of organisation rules apply and registered with the Care Inspectorate.
