The Robin Rigg Community Fund is available to community groups and organisations in the Solway area undertaking activities that contribute to the reduction of the effects of climate change or otherwise benefit the local community.

Projects should support and promote the following causes:

• Environmental
• Renewable energy
• Energy efficiency
• Sustainable development
• Charitable
• Educational
• Community
• General community amenity schemes or projects

The fund also supports Cumbria.

When to apply

The fund runs on an annual cycle. Applications open on 1 September each year. The deadline for the current round is 12 noon on 10 November 2026. Further applications may be invited during 2027 if funds are available.

Application forms and guidance notes for the current round can be downloaded from the Solway Firth Partnership website.

Completed application forms should be submitted by email to the fund administrator along with required supporting documents, including a copy of the organisation's constitution, most recent bank statement, and relevant quotations for any items or works.
