The Strathleven Foundation's Helping Hand Fund is aimed at constituted community groups and charities either based in Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven or support people and/or activities in this area.
The grant is available for between £250 - £2,000 and the grant criteria have been made as unrestricted as possible to recognise the diverse opportunities which exist in these communities. Strathleven Foundation Trustees will prioritise applications which contribute to at least one of the following:
- The prevention or relief of poverty
- The advancement of education
- The advancement of health
- The advancement of citizenship or community development
- The advancement of arts, culture, heritage, and science
- The advancement of public participation in sport
- The promotion of equality and diversity
- The advancement of environmental protection or improvement.
